Very well said JP. It's an advise that is very well thought of even though Mrs. Alone & Miserable gave you a very general and vague marriage problem. I agree with you in saying that, "In the end, only you can determine your level of happiness & satisfaction in life." since these are subjective. Her values, belief and perspective on marraige if known to you would make it accurate for you to give the right words to share with her. The medicine that the doctor could give is only as good as the patient reveals her condition.

It's good to know that she connects to the posts you write which gives you a pretty good idea that somehow you would know the answer.

This all the wonder of mind. People always find little things and try to make that a big issue. Here also the same happened. A proper councilling can solve this before it is going to be a tree from present seed position.

I'm sorry for the young lady there. And i think we shouldn't love people for reasons, but only for the way they are. Because if you love someone for reasons, when the reasons gone, then your love for him/her will be gone too.

"only you can determine your level of happiness & satisfaction in life. Sacrifices and compromises will need to be made. Allowing yourself time & patience will be critical for your success." Well Said. People sometime do not appreciate what they are having right now and feel that the grass is greener elsewhere, it may be green but may not be suitable to them also. One need to learn to have gratitude and also sacrifice to make marriage and family hold together.

Oh, I feel so bad for the young woman. It is much harder for her to make up her mind because she said that her husband is a great husband, but she just doesn't love him anymore.
